Motorists in the Capital Region are experiencing relief at the pump as gas prices continue to decline. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is currently $3.14. This marks a decrease of two cents over the past week and a five-cent drop from last month.

The state average for gas is slightly lower at $3.13 per gallon, while the national average is $3.09. These reductions are attributed in part to softer oil prices, which have contributed to the overall decrease in fuel costs.

As reported by iHeartRadio, the national average for a gallon of gas has decreased by a penny since last week, reflecting broader trends in the market. Despite these decreases, fluctuations in gas prices may still occur due to market dynamics and retailer responses to economic news.
