Albany, New York, is hosting the first of several community discussions aimed at making the city's streets safer. The meeting will take place this evening (March 31) at the First Presbyterian Church on State Street, starting at 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on various topics, including youth engagement, housing, and resources that can improve neighborhoods.

These discussions are part of a series of gatherings designed to involve the community in addressing local issues. Future meetings are scheduled for April 1, 9, 15, 27, and May 7. More details about the events can be found on the city's official website, albanyny.gov.

The initiative aims to foster community involvement and gather input from residents on how to create a safer and more supportive environment for everyone. By addressing these concerns, the city hopes to develop effective strategies that can lead to meaningful changes in Albany's neighborhoods.
