The Rotterdam Police Department is investigating the death of a man who was struck by a train early Monday morning (May 26) near Putnam Road. The incident occurred around 2:13 a.m., and the man, described as a white male about 20 years old, was found unresponsive with traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was wearing a black Las Vegas Raiders hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants, and black New Balance sneakers, but he did not have any identification on him. According to NEWS10 ABC, police have identified the man but are not releasing his name at this time.
