Man Arrested After Police Chase Ends in Hoosick Falls Crash

A police chase in Hoosick Falls ended with a car crashing into a home on Willard Street on Thursday night (November 20). The Hoosick Falls Police Department reported that 42-year-old Jason Shaw was arrested and is facing multiple charges following the incident.

The chase began when officers attempted to stop Shaw for a traffic violation. Instead of pulling over, Shaw fled, leading police on a pursuit through the streets of Hoosick Falls. The chase concluded when Shaw lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a house, causing significant damage.

According to News10, Shaw has a history of legal issues. In a previous incident, he was arrested for harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, as reported by the Bennington Banner.

Shaw is now facing charges related to the police chase and crash, including reckless driving and property damage. He is currently in custody, and further legal proceedings are expected.
