Coming to CBS and Paramount+ this fall is a new reality competition series called "The Road". It's the brainchild of Taylor Sheridan, from "Yellowstone" fame, and Blake Shelton.
The premise of the show is: 12 up-and-coming artists will be thrown on stage to open for Keith Urban, at seven mid-size venues across Texas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. And Gretchen Wilson will be their tour manager.
Gretchen says in the trailer, "Opening for Keith Urban is not for the faint of heart."
There's no official premiere date set, but they think sometime in the fall.
