"Cutting the cord" in order to save money is ironically becoming more expensive. YouTube TV has announced a sizable price hike is on the way. The cost of the live TV service will rise to $82.99 per month from $72.99 per month starting January 13 for existing members.
The $82.99 pricing started yesterday for new members.
The company blames “the rising cost of content” as well as investments into the platform for the price hike.
