2 Pros and a Cup of Joe takes over The Herd today and they’re keeping a close eye on the Pittsburgh Steelers reward their GM Omar Khan with a 3-year contract extension. The Steelers have been conspicuously busy this offseason, but Jonas Knox & LaVar Arrington are withholding judgement on these roster moves until we can actually see if they’ve become a true contender in the AFC North.
LaVar Arrington: “If they can’t show that they can win at the level they’ve been winning, and also take a definitive step forward in the AFC North…with Joe Burrow, with Lamar Jackson, then what are we talking about here? And I think that’s ultimately where the conversation will go if Pittsburgh doesn’t have a tremendous measure of success in this upcoming season.”
Jonas Knox: “Yeah. At least they’re not the Pirates.”
