Eddie has infected salivary glands.
His face started hurting so he went to the doctor and they told him his salivary glands are infected. They gave him antibiotics so he got on top of things quickly, however if the antibiotic doesn't work then he could have salivary stones. He would have to pass them through his saliva, which they told him can taste like sand as it gets discharged.
However, he thinks this is because of him drinking Topo Chico. He purchased a case of it and while he was drinking it, he saw a recall come through for it. Ever since then, his face started hurting so he thinks the two could be connected. Lunchbox researched and found the recall only affected the states of Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas. But Eddie thinks he could be the first person with the problem in Tennessee.
Bobby agreed with Lunchbox that it's likely not Topo Chico, but Eddie is ready to pursue legal action if it ends up being the case.
